Author We officially begin work on songs for the new album tonight! A lot is going on here behind the scenes, big things are in the works but it’s still too early to put anything out there. Stay tuned it’s going to be big year for The Reanimated and the horror punk scene as a whole!

We just wanted to add a little blip here to let all our fans know to check out Terror Music Scene Unite on Facebook. These guys work really hard at promoting horror related bands including The Reanimated and we are trying to outreach more people for them.. So if you have a chance hop on over and check them out!
Well it’s time again for another epic contest everyone. This time we are going to run 2 contests at the same time. The winner of the contest, if local to us will win admission to the Cancerslug or the Graves show (and probably some other sweet perks). If the winner is not local to us we will care package a whole ton of Swag for them to feast upon. SO! Here we go.
Contest #1 Promotion Hell
This is a Facebook exclusive contest. All we are asking it that you share our page on Facebook with your friends list and get people to “Like” us and then just have them comment and tell us you sent them. The person with the most referrals by April 15th wins.
Contest #2 Show us your Mort
Mort is our logo/mascot and over the years he has been tattooed on bodies, worn on clothing or as a mask, drawn and spray painted and been a part of a many bathroom graffiti jobs. What we want to see is what you do with him. We are accepting pictures of tattoo’s, pictures of you rocking your gear, artwork (including any computer generated renderings), and crafty Mort placement jobs. Anything you can think of to do with our guy we want to see it! Take a picture of it and upload it to our Facebook page or email it to evilabbybooking@gmail.com and we will put them all in a folder for people to vote on. This will also end April 15th so get those pictures in!!
We are looking forward to kickin ass this year and we want to include you – the fans in the process as a thank you for your dedication for the past 5 years!
Yup like always we’ve neglected the website, well there really hasn’t been a whole lot going on anyway. We’ve recently gotten back into rehearsing and writing some new material, no plans yet to record or anything we are just taking it slow. Stay tuned for a few upcoming show announcements, a big one is almost set in stone with Cancerslug!

Sunday, May 22nd. The Reanimated makes their return to the NKY/Cincy area for the first time in almost six months! Crawl out of your coffins and come on down to The Madhatter (620 scott st.) in Covington, Ky. for one hell of a show featuring Calabrese, The Reanimated, The Lurking Corpses, Switchblade Syndicate and Black Cat Rebellion. Not gonna see a bill like this often. Let’s do it!
We will be playing tonight at the Vollrath Tavern in Indy with Aaron Omen, Black Cat Rebellion and friends Switchblade Syndicate. Be there! Were gonna tear the roof off!
We dug up a gem that not many people have ever seen! When we started The Reanimated one of the first cover tunes we used to jam on was “My Black Angel” from Cancerslug, we only played this live a few times. Eric pulled out video from the first Reanimated show ever (July 2007 with The Epidemic), the quality isn’t the best but we thought it was cool enough to share. For your viewing and listening pleasure, The Reanimated covering “My Black Angel”!
We just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has signed up for the site and downloaded the new E.P. We hope you are all enjoying the new music. Also, net tshirts are in! They will be available at live shows and will be available for purchase on the site very soon. We will also have the infamous skull bandannas available as well. Stay tuned!
Finally The Reanimated have a new/proper home on the web! After spending the last year or so calling myspace and facebook home, we decided it was time to have our own website back up and running. Check out the site we have a lot of cool stuff here from pics to audio/video, and a ton more stuff just waiting for us to post.
Now for the cool part, do you see that box just over to the left that says “Member Updates”? Sign up for the site (Register link is on the left in the section called Meta)and login with your new ID, after you sign in as a thank you to all of our fans/friends you will see a link to download the entire new EP “The Necrofiles” for free! Yes that’s right I said for free, it’s free to sign up for the site and the EP is also free, it’s just our way of giving something back to everyone who has supported us.
We hope everyone enjoys the new site and check back often for updates, and you never know when we may have something else cool for members. Any suggestions for the site let us know.
